Shein is finally back in India, but its devoted consumers are disappointed

Political pressures between India and China resulted in the ban of numerous well-known apps such as TikTok, CamScanner, WeChat, ShareIt, and others by Indian experts in June 2020.

Shein, an e-commerce platform famous among the Indian crowd for its low-priced and fashionable clothing, was one of those apps. The ban’s news crushed many customers’ hearts because Shein offered clothes at amazingly low prices.

Nonetheless, the speedy style brand recently made a comeback in India. Shein returned to Amazon as a vendor during its two-day Prime Day shopping event rather than returning as an independent e-commerce platform.

Customers were relieved to learn that their beloved online store was returning following the year of being shut down. But, given the higher pricing and limited availability, many of its consumers have been upset following the much-anticipated release.

The government was served with a notice demanding a boycott of Amazon’s sale of Shein products by the Delhi High Court. Fortunately for the e-tailer, the bench refused to place an interceding time on the clock, and the issue was highlighted for the following month.
